Located in beautiful Youngstown, just a few miles from Canada, in Western New York State. We have been breeding Friesians for thirty plus years and we are extremely proud of the results that our boutique breeding program has produced to date. We take pride in our gorgeous horses and we are dedicated to their care, training and future. Some of our bloodline combinations are extremely rare, and through our individual breeding and training choices we are able to produce good natured, sound and extremely competitive horses with true form to function.
EXCELLENCE IN BREEDING
Our horses have won National Championship titles in most disciplines and are guided and nurtured towards their individual strengths and talents. Throughout the years of breeding, Lorick Stables has earned the title of leading Friesian Breeder in America for USEF. In 2015 Lorick Stables won the USEF (Ellen Scripps-Davis) Award for Excellence in Breeding Show Horses in America; we are the only Friesian Breeders to win this prestigious award to date. The Ellen Scripps Davis Memorial Breeders’ Cup, established in 1998, honors the enduring legacy of American Saddlebred breeder Ellen Scripps Davis. This distinguished award recognizes an individual or breeding enterprise that consistently produces outstanding performance and show horses.
